Policy Analysis Needs Technologists Like You

Dear Candidate,

I invite you to register for our Tech Stream Overview webinar on Wednesday, September 27 at 4 p.m. PT, because you expressed interest in the Technology Applications and Implications stream in your pre-application.

The Tech Stream is a unique opportunity to explore policy through making, breaking, and experimentation, including residency in our Tech + Narrative Lab, workshops, hackathons, experiments, research projects, and on-the-job training. Our goal is not only to change how policy analysis is accomplished but also to evolve the very definition of public policy, as technology is driving so much change.

The Tech Stream complements and interacts with our other policy streams, and the Tech + Narrative Lab brings together students, RAND researchers and staff, and external collaborators to prototype possible emerging technology capabilities to solve challenges in society and better understand their policy implications.
