Tuition and Aid

Students at Pardee RAND Graduate School — at both the M.Phil. and Ph.D. level — benefit professionally and financially from our unique experiential learning program.

M.Phil. Tuition and Aid

Tuition for Pardee RAND's two-year M.Phil. in Policy Analysis is $50,000 per year, and we guarantee master's degree students a fixed price at the time they matriculate.

To help offset tuition, students can earn upwards of $30,000 per year (pre-tax) through their required 150 days of on-the-job training, or “OJT.” This unique feature of our program enables students to gain real-world experience working for public and private sector clients on RAND policy research projects. Merit and need-based scholarships are available as well.

Note that international applicants, upon request, must submit proof of funds before a formal letter of admission and a Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status (Form I-20) will be issued.
