Alum Brent Fulton (cohort ’01) returned to Pardee RAND on October 18 as part of the Career Services program. He visited with current students and discussed his role as associate director of the Nicholas C. Petris Center on Health Care Markets and Consumer Welfare at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health. Brent shared feedback on how his career progressed and answered specifics for individuals interested in pursuing roles within academia.
After the talk, student Bill Gelfeld (cohort '14) noted, "Brent was very accessible and candid about his interesting, varied career path. For me in particular, it was insightful to hear about the world of academia and helped me get a better idea of the kind of things I have to think about and prepare for as I look for those kinds of jobs in the near future. All of the students seemed to genuinely appreciate his perspective and humor."
