Dear Pardee RAND Community,

I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Malcolm Williams as Pardee RAND’s Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. A popular mentor and advisor at the school, Malcolm is an expert in health policy. He is also at the vanguard of community-based research. His recent NIH-funded study united more than 60 South Los Angeles churches, the L.A. Department of Public Health, and local health centers to tackle obesity and diabetes among Latinos and African Americans.

Working with Malcolm is such a joy, and I am excited about the many plans he has for our amazing school.
