Dear Pardee RAND Community,
Just last week, our school hosted a fireside chat with RAND’s new president and CEO, Jason Matheny. And wow—what an inspiring way to kick off the academic year!
Before an audience of nearly 100 students, faculty, staff, friends, and alumni, Jason outlined his goal for RAND to tackle humanity’s greatest challenges through an increased focus on four areas: climate and energy, inequality and inequity, China, and technology governance.
Pardee RAND is excited to play an important role in each of these critical areas of research and policy, and we look forward to continuing our innovative support of RAND’s goals.
As always, I welcome your ideas on how Pardee RAND can better achieve its mission to train the next generation of global policy leaders.
Warmly,

Nancy Staudt
