Dear Pardee RAND Community,
Throughout the month of March, we celebrate women's history and the extraordinary social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women across the globe. At RAND and Pardee RAND, we are especially excited to honor the women among us who have advanced research related to gender and paved the way for women policy leaders.
It is both a privilege and a responsibility to mentor rising leaders in policy studies and help them achieve their goals. While there is still more we can and should do to address gender disparities, I am proud of the strides RAND and Pardee RAND have taken to foster diversity and increase opportunities for training and career advancement for all. I am also excited about the work of our student-led DEI Committee.
Please join me in recognizing the contributions of women throughout history.
Happy Women’s History Month,

Nancy Staudt
