The Pardee RAND Graduate School is now accepting applications for enrollment into the 2012 entering class. The application period runs through January 5, 2012.

The Pardee RAND Graduate School (PRGS) is unique in American higher education. Founded in 1970 as one of eight graduate programs created to train future leaders in public policy, PRGS focuses exclusively in the Ph.D. degree in Policy Analysis. It is also the only one based at a public policy research organization—the RAND Corporation.

• The interdisciplinary curriculum focuses on analytic tools and methodologies including economics, statistics, operations research, and the behavioral and social sciences.
• PRGS students gain practical experience and earn their fellowships through on-the-job training as members of RAND's research teams working on policy projects for a global clientele. As a result, PRGS students graduate with an academic and professional portfolio—or, as we say, "Curriculum Plus Vitae."
• PRGS students can choose to work in one or more policy areas, such as children and families, education, energy and environment, health and health care, infrastructure and transportation, law and business, international security and defense, population and aging, public safety, science and technology, and homeland security.
