Pardee RAND Graduate School hosted a discussion on the role “narrative” plays in policy and social change. Todd Richmond, director of the Pardee RAND Tech & Narrative Lab, moderated a conversation with RAND senior information scientist Elizabeth Bodine-Baron, Academy Award-winning® producer Ed Saxon, and Pardee RAND student Hilary Reininger on how storytelling and the ways we communicate inform some of the world’s greatest challenges. They discussed the American narrative, conspiracy theories, misinformation, and what can be done to change the narrative.
