Pardee RAND had record breaking representation at this year’s APPAM Conference in Washington, DC from Nov. 3-5. Eleven students and two recent graduates presented their work. The school also hosted its annual reception on Thursday, Nov. 3 at Mission Dupont, where nearly 40 Pardee RAND alumni, students, faculty, staff, and industry professionals reconnected and networked over cocktails.
In preparation for the conference, students organized the first ever "APPAM and Me" workshop series in October. The series consisted of three workshops featuring past student and faculty attendees who shared tips about preparing a poster, networking opportunities, and how to get the most out of the overall conference experience. The series culminated in a mock poster session during which students could practice discussing their research to an audience of their peers and faculty members.
