Defense Budgeting
This course is intended to provide a foundational understanding of the defense budget. This course looks at the intersection between the Executive and Legislative branches in developing and managing the defense budget.
Students will gain an understanding for how the defense budget is developed, an understanding of Congress legislates and manages the budget, and analytic tools for using defense budget data. This course will be interactive, culminating in a exercise where students will make trades across major defense programs.
