Ethical Considerations for New and Emerging Technologies
The goal of this course is to provide students with a nuanced appreciation of how ethics are involved in real life choices, especially in the context of national security and the use of new technologies. We will also examine how risk is the shadow side of what we call “ethics.” The course will be highly interactive, challenging students to debate how decisions should be made in the context of an ethical framework.
