National Security Policy, Strategy Making, and Implementation
This course analyzes key decision-making concepts that national security professionals within the whole of government security sector utilize to frame national security policy and strategy decision-making and implementation processes. The course will include a multi-lesson introduction to the theory and components of national security policy and strategy making. This will include group development of a national security policy and strategy formulation model that will be applied to a detailed examination of several national security policy and strategy case studies. The tutorial is delivered from the dual perspective of an academic and a practitioner.
