The Faculty Leaders Program is a professional development certificate program that helps to fulfill Pardee RAND's goal of bringing a greater diversity of experience and perspective to the study and practice of public policy analysis. In the process, we also develop a collegial fellowship of practitioners.

Who? U.S. college and university faculty who serve underrepresented populations

What? A intensive, hands-on certificate program in policy analysis for faculty leaders aimed at building diversity in the field of public policy

When? July 15-17, 2024, plus three follow-on sessions: July 24 and 31, and August 2.

Where? Online (the 2024 program was organized as a series of virtual workshops)

How? Applications are now closed.

How much? Free! (Tuition is $3,500, but—thanks to our sponsor—full-tuition fellowships are awarded to 12–16 selected faculty.)

Why participate?

  • Gain the tools to incorporate public policy analysis into your curriculum, research, and mentoring of the next generation
  • Learn to apply these methods to effect positive change within your communities
  • Collaborate with RAND researchers and have the opportunity to continue these relationships throughout the year
