Abstract Submission Information
Students and postdoctoral researchers are invited to submit an abstract for consideration to present their research at the Symposium. We welcome theses/dissertations, capstones, and other research projects, especially those relevant to the 2016 theme, “People, Planet, Profits: Policy Solutions for a Changing World.”
There is no cost for submitting an abstract.
How to submit your abstract
Step 1: Register for the Symposium
Step 2: Submit your abstract via email or the web form. You will need the following information:
- Title
- Presenting author(s)
- Name(s) and affiliation(s) of all author(s), in the order in which they should appear
- Abstract text (250-word limit)

- Abstract Submission Deadline: March 18, 2016 at 11:59pm Pacific Time
- Notifications emailed: March 20, 2016
Details
- Thematic submissions are encouraged, but not strictly required. The 2016 theme is “People, Planet, Profits: Policy Solutions for a Changing World.”
- Abstracts are welcome from undergraduate students, post-baccalaureate students, graduate students, and post-doctoral researchers.
- Theses, dissertations, capstone projects, other research projects, etc. are all welcome
- Oral presentations will last approximately 10-20 minutes, with 5-10 minutes for questions.
- There is no option for poster presentations.
- Presentations about in-progress research/projects are acceptable. That is, complete results are not required, and you are welcome to present on the current status of your work.
- Presentations about work that has been previously published/presented are acceptable.
- Accepted abstracts will be published on the Symposium website, as well as in the printed in the official Symposium program.
- If you do not receive an email confirming receipt of your abstract within 24 hours after submission, please email PhuongGiang Nguyen at policysymposium@prgs.edu.
